E. pinnatum ssp colchicum- Leaves turn dark black purple in autumn leaving a contrast of thunderbolt pattern of green veins. Flowers are showy bright yellow inner sepals. Origin: Georgia Republic. Height 10”. Zones 5-9. Evergreen.
